Dare to Compare 2016
Accord vs. Fusion

Honda Accord vs. Ford Fusion

When shopping for a mid-size sedan, the competition can be fierce and it can be hard to see which models truly stand out. We’ll compare the 2016 Honda Accord and the 2016 Ford Fusion, two popular choices, to see which option wins out.

Not all drivers want the same thing, which is why having a variety of trims and options available is great. The Accord lets buyers choose from among six well-equipped trim levels. Even the base LX come with a standard rearview camera, Bluetooth HandsFreeLink system, and daytime running lights. In contrast, the Fusion is only available in three trims, cutting buyer’s options in half.

For the optimal combination, the Accord delivers both power and efficiency. The base engine on the Accord is a 2.4-liter four-cylinder. Even with its small size, it still generates 185 horsepower and 181 lb-ft of torque. For the Fusion, the base engine is a 2.5-liter four-cylinder that is only rated at 175 horsepower and 175 lb-ft of torque. Even with more power, the Accord is more efficient than the Fusion!

If you’re looking for a high-end interior, the 2016 Accord has been completely redesigned. You’ll find upscale materials and a quality craftsmanship throughout. The Fusion had no notable changes for 2016.

Come see the difference for yourself today at Brighton Honda and we think you’ll choose the 2016 Honda Accord every time.
